Culture Shock
A lot of people got culture shock when they move to new county.When I traveled to the UK I didn't get
culture shock.However I'm from Qatar ,so there are a lot of different things between Qatar and United Kingdom , as the language , weather , currency , and the way they drive.In my country the driver seat is in the left but on the UK the driver seat is on the right , so I always get confuse . Second thing is weather in Qatar the weather is hot and i got use to it but in the UK weather is very cold and you don't know when it will rain. Also the language was problem to me because my native language is Arabic but in the UK they speak English ,so I took some English courses to improve my English , so I can speck to other people. Finally I thing every one will have problem in the beginning because every thing is new to him but after that it will be ok .

ReplyDeleteI agree.Well written. However, I would like you to write more! Please start blogging on the education system in Qatar. How many terms do you have? Do any pupils attend private school? What are the most important exams? Is there a national curriculum?
