My feeling of  Studying and living in the UK ?!

Do you now feel differently about living and studying in the UK than you felt in September ?

Yes I do , when I came to the UK I hardly found flat to live it because there are many students living it Cardiff. Also , I found trouble with connect with people because I did not have good English language. However, I born in Qatar so , Qatar has extremely different culture of the UK. After 2 weeks I used to it and I like it a lot because I met new friends from difference countries and I leaned new things . 

In what ways do you think you have changed or not changed ?

Yes , I have changed in many things , such as writing , reading , listening and specking. Know I now how to write the easies . I also changed me food and my daley things like I use to eat me traditional foot put now I eat many difference things.

Is changing is a good or bad thing ?

It is a good thing because I tried many new things. Also , I improved my skills .

Care for the elderly

Every old person need some one to take care of him and there are big difference between Qatar and the UK of how take care of the elderly.

On the one hand , in Qatar the sons how take care of the elderly . First of all , the sons take care of the elderly because they love them and if the elderly need place to live it they can live with them. Also , if the elderly need health care they bring nurse to the house. Secondly ,  the majority of Qatar citizens are Muslim , so their religion encourage them to take care of their parents. Finally , if the elderly need any medical care the government made it free on hospitals even in private clinics.

On the second hand , in the UK if the elderly need health care they have to bay to the government to stay on the hospital. Secondly , there are some sons how take care of the elderly , put the majority leave them because they do not have time . Finally , if  the elderly need medical care they do not get enough help and they do not have enough money .

The advantages and disadvantages of immigration

The advantages and disadvantages of immigration

Nowadays, every country trying to developing their country by bringing immigration.Immigrant and emigrant do not mean the same thing. An immigrant is a person that leaves his or her own country or region and an immigrant is a person that comes from other country or region.However, immigration has advantages and disadvantages.

On the one hand, there are numerous of disadvantages. Firstly, the immigration bring new culture, tradition and religion; all these things increase the crimes and fights.Also, immigration increasing the traffic jam and population.Secondly, migrants need jobs ,so the Unemployment going to raise and the citizens will not have anymore jobs. Finally,

On the second hand, there are also advantages of immigration. Firstly ,  bring new ideas to the country and improve the economy . Secondly , immigration bring with them new culture , so the learn new culture . Finally , immigration will make new restaurant , so every one can try new food .

Should the government against smack the children?

Should the government against smacking children ??

There are a lot of countries against smacking while UK allowed parents to smack their children. However there are advantages and disadvantages of smacking children.

On one the hand , some parents thing that smacking their  children is a good idea to teach theme. Firstly, children love to try ever thing and sometimes they try bad things , so when the parents smack theme they understand that it is wrong. Secondly , children do not understand when parents talk to theme , so they have to smack theme to let theme know that they do somethings bad . Finally , the parents smack their children because they love them also they do not smack them hard.

On the second hand , some parents say that government have to against smacking children. Firstly , smacking children is against human rights . Secondly , children do not have strong body , so when the parents smack them  possible they hurt them or break their bone.

In my opinion , parent should not smack their children because they will hat their parents and they will not be outspoken.

1.what is the role of the Assmbly?

The Welsh Assembly government is the democratically elected represents the interests of Wales and its people, makes laws for Wales, and its estate.The Assembly s consists of 60 elected Assembly. 

2.Do you think it is a good idea for Wales to have its own (lower level) government?

Yes I do , I think it is good idea for Wales to have its own government because Wales government know their people , so put the best laws and rules.

3. Would this system be successful in gulf states ?

Yes in some countries such as Saudi Arabia and UAE because they are quite big.However it would not be successful in Qatar or Bahrain because its small countries and the citizens are happy with their government.

The European Union is a confederation of 25 member countries in Europe, started in 1957 as the European Economic Community.The objective of the EU is to bring its member states closer together with respect of human rights and democracy.

In 1975 Britain joined European Union and the are a majority of people against that, at the same time there are a lot of people want the UK to stay a member in European Union.

However, there are advantages and disadvantages of the European Union.

On the one hand , the advantages of European Union are overweigh than the disadvantages. Firstly, any country needs help or assistant the European Union will help it. Secondly , any one can travel to another country without visa and also if he would like to work there they can. Finally , They can go other country and live there.

On the second hand , there are some disadvantages of the European Union such as ،an increase in population and unemployment. In London there are of European living there so there are no jobs for the  citizens.

There are little differences between Qatar education and U.K education such as time.In Qatar all schools start at 7:00AM to 1:45PM and we have two break.In the U.K the schools start at 9:00AM and finish at 3:00 PM. In Qatar the boys have there own school and the girls  have there own school ,but in the U.K the boys and the girls are in the same school. However I think the subjects are the same in Qatar and the U.K except Arabic and Islam. In the U.K student have to wear uniforms and in Qatar are the same.

The United Kingdom is actually made up of four different countries: Scotland, Wales , Northern Ireland and England which is the largest . Each nation has its own culture and heritage . The capital city of England is London, which is also the largest city in England. Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester are also large cities in England. Over 53 million people live in England . In Wales 20% of people speak Welsh and the capital is Cardiff. The population of Scotland is five million and the capital is Edinburgh. In 1922 Ireland was split into two nations, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. The capital is Belfast and 1.7 million people live in Northern Ireland.

A lot of people got culture shock when they move to new county.When I traveled to the UK I didn't get
culture shock.However I'm from Qatar ,so there are a lot of different things between Qatar and United Kingdom , as the language , weather , currency , and the way they drive.In my country the driver seat is in the left but on the UK the driver seat is on the right , so I always get confuse . Second thing is weather in Qatar the weather is hot and i got use to it but in the UK weather is very cold and you don't know when it will rain. Also the language was problem to me because my native language is Arabic but in the UK they speak English ,so I took some English courses to improve my English , so I can speck to other people. Finally I thing every one will have problem in the beginning because every thing is new to him but after that it will be ok .
